The client had purchased these sapphires previously from us, and she then asked us to build her design around them.Įach sapphire is surrounded by a halo of split prong set diamonds which sits slightly below the larger stones. They’re prong set in 14k yellow gold, and the warm tones of the metal help enhance the rich yellow color of the stones. The central focus of these earrings is the round yellow sapphires, which together total 1.21 carats. We then put together CAD proofs of the pieces as we proposed to make them, and she quickly approved these to move into production.
